Mount Kinabalu 2 Days 1 Night Climb
Mount Kinabalu known as Sabah or North Borneo premium icon where most of the visitors main reason to come. With the height of 4095.2m above sea level and rank as the highest Mountain in Malaysia. Beside that, it is also rank as 41 highest mountain in the world. Highlight of the mountain climb will the sunrise from peak called Low’s Peak. Flora along the route may amaze you such as dwarf shrubs, mosses, lichens, liverworts and the magnificent pitcher plants. As for fauna, you may see rhinoceros hornbill, mountain serpent-eagle, Dulit frogmouth, eyebrowed jungle flycatcher, and bare-headed laughingthrush.
Day 1 - 6:30 am meet our representative at hotel lobby. He will assist you to our transportation service. Brief by him about do and don’t on during the hike. The journey will approximately took 1 hour 45 minutes to Kinabalu Park. Upon arrival, our representative will arrange your mountain guide, pack lunch and registration part and it took around 20 minutes to be done. 9:00 am, starting with mountain guide to hike 5km to Laban Rata. Along the route, do look around for plants and some animals, they may boost your energy by their beauty cause your body might in quite fatigue. Depends on your strength, you will reach Laban Rata for dinner and rest.
Day 2 – 1:00 am climbers may need light supper to start the 2:00 am climb to the peak at 4095.2 meters. During the climb, it will be very dark and headlamp is compulsory for you to bring. With full of passion to experience the sunrise, climbers should reach at 8km or to Low’s Peak to be in good view. At the peak, its allow only to stay 15 minutes due to giving chances to other climbers. After moment of watching the scenery, climbers start descending to Laban Rata for breakfast. Finally, pack your staff and start descending down to Timpohon Gate. Depend on climbers speed may reach 2:00 pm and will be greet by our representative and straight for high tea. With the full satisfaction, our representative will transfer climbers back to Kota Kinabalu City.
